Henstridge Airfield

Henstridge Airfield was commissioned during the war as a training airfield for the Fleet Air Arm. It was also a relief landing airfield for RNAS Yeovilton. Henstridge was also where Alan Bristow set up Bristow Helicopters in 1955.
